Description:Guard dog tether at the former German-German border. Guard dogs were either tethered to long lines or put into fenced areas where they could run freely. They were used to block "free" areals of the border where people could have moved ot crossed once they overcame the other livfe-threatening obstacles. - Wachhunde wurden an der innerdeutschen Grenze entweder an Laufseilanlagen gehalten oder in eingezäunten Bereichen frei laufen gelassen, wo evtl. Flüchtlinge durch das Gelände bedingt eine Chance zur Flucht hätte nutzen können, sofern sie die anderen todbringenden Hindernisse hätten überwinden können. Hinter der Hundehütte der Fahrzeug-Sperrgraben (Betonplatten) und der Drahtzaun.
